Anyone who knows the Central Coast will be aware that around 30,000 people commute to work elsewhere every day, usually Sydney and Newcastle but some hardy souls make this daily trek to locations such as Penrith, North Richmond and Liverpool; over three hours per day that would normally be spent with family, friends or just relaxing. Commuting becomes a large down side to the otherwise fantastic lifestyle that can be enjoyed on the Central Coast.

There are two possible solutions that come to mind; one is to convince government to provide state of the art rapid transit such as mag-lev trains and the other is to build up the health of local industry and commerce to create more local jobs. While finding around half a billion dollars for fast trains is out of the domain of BusCC the ability to grow the local economy and create more jobs is an area where BusCC, assisted by its partners, can make a difference.

BusCC invites those seeking to relocate or invest here and those already located on the Central Coast to browse this site and see how BusCC and its partners can help you make the move or provide answers to those difficult growth decisions. BusCC, Gosford City Council, Wyong Shire Council and the Department of State & Regional Development work collaboratively to make relocations as painless as possible. It must be remembered however, that the Central Coast is not an open slather region for poor and incompatible development as the natural and built environment plays a vital part in making the region such a great place to live and work.
